Impact of natural disasters on the poor and disadvantaged, Kyrgyz Republic

Services:

Assessed various forms of potential natural disasters in the country and their impact on villages. A number of mitigation strategies were identified and evaluated from a socio-economic perspective.

Output:

A detailed socio-economic model for various locations was presented in conjunction with possible government interventions.

Outcome:

Our client adopted the tool developed to prioritise interventions and developed a programme to minimise the impact that natural disasters had on the poor and disadvantaged.
